Sub: Restricted Item

This is to notify all concern Departments & line agencies that, Ministry of Finance vide its Budget call No. MoF/Budget-Notification/2010-11/3542 dated 22nd December 2009 has restricted following item(s).

Therefore, concern procuring agency(s) under the Ministry of Works & Human Settlement are advised to exclude and provision their budget projection for financial year 2010-2011 accordingly.

  1. Bags and stationary items for conferences & workshops.
  2. In excess of Nu. 0.060m per laptop and allowed only for professional works.
  3. Under regular office supplies: External hard drive (except for IT personnel), scissors & scale (except for procurement, engineering and finance sections), news paper/magazine subscriptions (except for Department heads and above), briefcases, sleeping bags, water boilers, wising cards, diaries and printing of calendars.

Issued for strict compliance by all concerned.
