Construction of Baychu & Kamichu RCC bridges on Wangdue-Tsirang highway

1. This Invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for the project that appeared in Bhutan Observer & Kuensel.

2. The Director General, Department of Roads, Ministry of Works & Human Settlement, Thimphu, Bhutan now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for Construction of Baychu & Kamichu RCC bridges on Wangdue-Tsirang highway.  The period for execution of the assignment is Twelve (12) months only.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedure specified in the RGoB Procurement Manual and is open to all Bidders from Countries as defined in Section III of the Bidding Documents.

The Director General, Department of Roads, Ministry of Works & Human Settlement, Thimphu, Bhutan now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for Construction of Nisokha zam over Dangmechu at Panbang– a 152 mtr Steel Arch bridge with Concrete deck of overall width 7.10 mtr and the approaches.  The period for execution of the assignment is Eighteen (18) months only.

1. The Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB) has received a loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Urban Infrastructure Development Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contracts for Access Road Upgrade at Existing Compost Plant at Serbithang. Bidding is open to all eligible ADB member countries. However, a successful bidder is required to register with the Construction Development Board (CDB) of Bhutan before award of contract.

2. Thimphu City Corporation, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement, RGoB (the "Employer") invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Access Road Upgrade at Existing Compost Plant at Serbithang ("the Work").

3. Only eligible bidders with following qualifications should participate in this bidding:

• Key experience requirement : 3 years

• Key financial requirement: Minimum average annual construction turnover of Nu. 3 million in at least three years within the last five years.

• Key equipment requirement : Excavator/back hoe, Road roller, Tipper, Concrete mixers, etc

•  Key personnel for project based requirement: Project Engineer/Road Engineer, Site Supervisor.
