The Department of Roads, Ministry of Works & Human Settlement invites sealed bids for the “Construction of Steel Truss Bridge over Dagachu on Sunkosh – Dagana Road” from Bhutanese “Class A” Contractors under Roads and Bridges Category as per CDB Certificates and having valid trade license.
The bidding documents can be purchased upon submission of a written application to the Chief Engineer, Bridge Division, Department of Roads, Thimphu, Bhutan.

Corrigendum(17/10/2008)
The last date of submission for thequotation for air ticketing from Paro to Bangkok and Bangkok to Paro against our NIT No. MoW&HS/Pro-Sect/08/2008-2009/1752 uploaded on the ministry’s website on 14th October 2008 is pre-pond to 20th October 2008 at 2.00pm BST, due to unavoidable circumstances.
Other terms and condition shall however remain unchanged.

The Department of Urban Development & Engineering Services, Ministry of Works & Human Settlement on behalf of the Royal Court of Justice, Thimphu, Bhutan invites sealed item bids from the registered eligible Class ‘C’ Contractors with W3 qualification, having valid trade license and CDB certificate for the Construction of Compound Wall at the Supreme Court Complex, Thimphu.
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders on payment of non-refundable fee of Nu. 1000.00 ( Ngultrum One Thousand) only to the Accounts Section, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement and after producing the revenue receipt and a written application addressed to Director, DUDES along with the valid Contract License and CDB Certificate to the office of the Chief Engineer, ESD, DUDES, MoWHS during the working hours. - An earnest money deposit of not less than 2% of the quoted amount shall be enclosed with the bid documents in the form of demand draft/cash warrant/bank guarantee only from the recognized Financial Institute prepared in the favor of the Dy. Chief Finance Officer, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement, Thimphu. Earnest money in the form of cash shall not be accepted.
- The bids must be delivered in accordance with “Instructions to Bidders” to the office of the Chief Engineer, ESD, DUDES, MoWHS, Thimphu on or before 1030 hours on 18 th November 2008.
- The bids shall be opened at 1430 hours on the same day in the presence of the bidders at the Conference Hall of MoWHS, Thimphu.
- The MLTC reserves the right to reject or accept the bids without assigning any reasons.
